A tragedy devastated a family from Maringá , in the northwest region of Paraná, this week. The father, mother and a baby, just 4 months old, died in a traffic accident on the MS-244 highway, in Jaraguari, near Campo Grande, in Mato Grosso do Sul . The collision happened as the family was heading towards a hospital, after the child had a seizure.

According to information, the child began to feel sick when he was with his mother at home, on Thursday morning (30). Worried, the woman warned her husband, who was working. As soon as he got home, the man took his wife and son and headed towards an emergency room.

While driving along a country road, the father of the family lost control of the steering wheel and ended up going off the road. As a result of the impact, Gilberto Neves, 34, and his son, Vitor Sylva Neves, 4 months, died on the spot. The child’s mother, Geisiane Priscila Sylva, 32, was rescued by an ambulance, but also couldn’t resist.

The couple was born in Maringá and a few months ago had moved to Rio Verde (MS), where they want to start a new life. In addition to little Vitor, who died in the accident, the family has another 12-year-old daughter, who was at school at the time of the tragedy. The girl is in the care of family members.

This Friday (1st), the bodies of the three victims were sent to Maringá. On social media, friends and family mourned the tragedy.
