On the first day of the match, the match was suspended for the first half due to rain. The showers were forced to eat breakfast and then delayed the start of the second session. Although the suspension forced the players to stay in the locker rooms longer than planned, it could not prevent the spectators from enjoying their time as some fans were seen playing cricket outside the stadium.
In a video posted by official broadcasters on their official Twitter account, a man was seen throwing a child, hitting an umbrella in the hand. Meanwhile, some of the fans seemed to be holding their own, while others were shouting outside the stadium.
The shooter mimicked the throwing action of India’s former Harbhajan Singh and later celebrated the wicket by making Indian veteran opener Shikhar Dhawan a ‘kabaddi style celebration’.
