Speaking to Indian Express, Janhvi Kapoor once said that when she expressed her desire to join the film industry as an actress, Sridevi did not like her daughter’s work taking the same path as hers.
“When I was younger, he really wanted to be a doctor. I don’t know why, and I said, ‘I’m sorry mom, but I don’t have the wisdom to be a doctor,’ ‘Janhvi said. He then went on to reveal that it was his father Boney Kapoor who convinced Sridevi of their daughter’s intention to join Bollywood.
Interestingly, Janhvi Kapoor and Boney Kapoor will soon be sharing screen space as actors for the first time! The two will be seen commercially as father and daughter. Needless to say, they are very happy with this special partnership.
