Vikram (Hindi) Box Office: Kamal Haasan starrer heads for Rs 10 crore with a 100 percent Return on Investment

Kamal-Haasan-1

Vokram by Lokesh Kanagaraj starring Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil, and Vijay Sethupathi has broken many records in his Tamil language. The film received the highest amount of money in the Tamil language although the main source of Tamil remains S. Shankar 2.0 playing Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar. While the numbers below and south and overseas were just amazing, an interesting trend from northern India with its eye-catching Hindi version. The trend is unlike any other film we’ve seen in the south, with the exception of Pushpa, as the film is expected to protect a lifetime cume of more than 30 × the opening day.

The film directed by Kamal Haasan had a good start in Hindi as it opened with Rs. 30 lakh on opening day. The film grew every day, stayed strong throughout the week, and grew again on weekends. In line with the trend, the film is on track to double its first week business by the end of it, which is amazing. The film did more business than its two rivals who started well on the Hindi band: Samrat Prithviraj and Major, daily in Hindi now. The film was purchased by Pen Marudhar for Rs. 2.5 cr on the basis of a minimum warranty and the film may have a stake of more than Rs. 5 cr, thus obtaining a return on investment in the north by 100 percent. From a commercial point of view, the film is a steep Peni Movie but Rs. The lifetime number 10 cr nett is not really benchmark.
