Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer’s wife Linda dies aged 55

Aerosmith singer Joey Kramer’s wife of 13 years has died.

The singer’s representative confirmed that Linda Kramer, a former Hewlett-Packard contract manager, passed away on June 22 at the age of 55.

The cause of death was not immediately available.

An obituary found by PEOPLE on Friday described Linda as full of “bad, bad jokes” who enjoyed Hallmark’s Christmas films and “had a passion for speeding cars”.

He reportedly cared deeply for his family, friends, and his dogs Lucy and Cosmo.

Kramer and Linda were married in October 2009, with the singer calling her the love of her life.

Her body said: “Linda loved Joey very much, and her well-being and happiness were paramount.

She is survived by her husband, her parents, three sisters, her siblings, her adopted son Jesse, and her nieces.

Kramer announced in March that he would not join Aerosmith to re-launch his ‘Deuces are Wild’ residence in Las Vegas this summer, saying family problems were the cause of his “temporary leave”.

The days were postponed in May when team striker Steven Tyler, 74, went into rehab after recovering from a poor diet following a recent foot surgery.

News of Kramer’s wife’s death comes as Tyler is said to be “doing amazingly well” after completing 30 days of rehabilitation following his war of addiction.

The singer is said to be clean and drunk after a self-examination at a correctional facility, family sources told TMZ on Friday, with insiders adding that the singer was “healthy”.

The next Aerosmith show will be at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor, Maine, on September 4th.
