Since its inception, Salman Khan’s upcoming film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali has been in the news for one reason or another. Buzz around the film simply refuses to die. The first was the coordinator Sajid Nadiadwala quitting the project. Later, news of Aayush Sharma’s departure made headlines. There have also been rumors about director Farhad Samji off the set and Salman Khan’s ghost directing film.
And from what we are learning now, the name of the film has been changed to Bhaijaan and none other than Salman himself. While filming is still underway in Mumbai, a source close to the project has revealed that the film has been renamed for a very important reason.
“Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’s shooting started on Salman’s farm on the outskirts of Mumbai last month. Now, the title of the film has been changed to a short Bhaijaan. The reason for this is that Bhaijaan is a love word used by Salman. In fact, Bhaijaan was the subject that Salman wanted in this project – a story of a patriarchal family in which the eldest son ruled the whole family, ”the source said.
Speaking further, the same source added, “Salman’s role in the film is similar to that he plays in real life in his family. Salman Khan, with all his wisdom, has decided to name his film after his character. ”
Coming to the project, the film is directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Salman Khan Films. Starring Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, and Venkatesh, the film is expected to be released on December 30, 2022.
